Well, it is official, I'm a CFI!

Well all I have to say is CONGRATULATIONS! I for one know that it's not easy, but you made it.

Now what?

Are you going back to HSI to instruct?

I'm curious your long term goals with the helicopter gig?

A question I ask myself all the time now that I'm getting closer to the CFI rating.

Actually, no. No training in the short term.

I decided to get the CFI because I felt that it was a logical end to my training, like the icing on the cake. If I was ever going to do it, I wanted to do it right on the heels of my Comm. Too hard to pick up afterwords.

Just felt like it was the right time, and the right thing to do.

I would LOVE to teach, I really would. I did a lot of teaching in graduate school, and found it very rewarding. So if I could find someone like me, who would like to train w/ 2-4 hours a week on weekends... that would be perfect. So, you never know... it may happen, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

I plan to keep my CFI active until some day when I can use it full force...
